The guys try to be your escape from the real world and discuss the trending topics. Sports aren‘t the only things the guys discuss. Topics can range from music, internet stories, Netflix shows, listener submitted questions, BDE vs LDE, etc. Also, Cam, an up and coming country artist, gives an inside look into his music process. The MLB is back at again being absolute clown show. We give our views and opinions on the new rule against the sticky stuff (Spidertak, pinetar, suncreen?, etc) that gives pitchers extra grip of the baseball. We react to the Max Vs Girardi situation that played out over this rule and its implications moving forward. We also dive into a little basketball talk and discuss the Suns in 4 guy and the guy humiliated. Wild situation. Also, we discuss the Hawks looking like a team of destiny and Grubes is on board the bandwagon. To wrap up the guys talk about Carl Nassib's announcement of being the first active openly gay NFL player. We support him and his decision. Its a fun week as get closer to the Fourth of July. We're back after a week off last week. This week we have some making up to do so we start by covering the Julio Jones trade to the Titans. Its a blockbuster trade that can change the landscape of the AFC and can give a Chiefs a true challenge outside of Baltimore. Then we give a deep dive into the CFP 12 team expansion proposal the CFP committee is reviewing. We go down a few rabbit holes as usual but we give a lot of thought and opinion into our takes on this expansion. Then we move into a weird scenario that played out between Kevin Durant and Lana Rhoades. To wrap up we discuss some podcast industry news and get an update on Cam's music. Well guys we made it to the 69th episode and its a fun one. We decided to do what we do best and BS with each other and let it rip. We start off by discussing what the next 50 years may look like and get into a little China talk. With this, we discuss Dr. Fauci's emails that were made public this week. What's really up with the Covid-19 situation? We then move onto talking about our Memorial day weekend and the antics we got ourselves into. Then we give our former team a shoutout for winning the Sun Belt conference tournament becoming double champs and making the Gainesville regional as the three seed. They face off with Miami on Friday. To wrap up we give a reading of an infamous letter from Mickey Mantle himself on his most fond memory from Yankee Stadium and it is hilarious and wild. Today is the day. Cam's 4th song is officially out and we are pumped! Go check it out on all music platforms and blow it up. Check out last week's episode for a deep dive into the song. Cam also is making an appearance on a radio show Friday morning to promote his song so go support him there as well. This week there was no plan and was really off the cuff but we had a few topics we rambled on about. We talk at length about the Brooks Koepka and Bryson Dechambeau drama that has unfolded this week starting with the viral video from the PGA. In typical BDE fashion we go through a few rabbit hole from there. Then we talk some Aaron Rodgers and Julio Jones trade situations. It was a fun week as always. Pretty cool podcast from us this week. Cam's new song drops next Friday May 28th call "This Town" and he decided that since y'all are so awesome that y'all would get the first listen. He gives a deep dive about this song and why he wrote it. Its a a deep, relatable meaning behind the song. We talk about the song as well as music in general. Then we dive into some baseball stories from this past week. A guy got dropped at a Padres game, Shohei Ohtani is the best, Tony La Russa and old guys are what's bad with baseball, and we need to fix all these no hitters. Gotcha hat! No cap. Grubes is back this week with a solo episode discussing the stories of this week. The internet gave a few gems to talk about such as Jake Paul stealing Floyd Mayweather's hat. Not too shocking but it took over the internet and sports media for over 24 hours. Grubes gives his thoughts on this plus the fight that is actually taking place. He also discusses the Braves being at 100% capacity for the first time since 2019. Then talks about the 10 story Chinese rocket that may or may not squash us. He wraps up with his thoughts on a take posed by Kendrick Perkins, it's harder to win a NBA Championship than a NFL Super Bowl. Wild stuff.
